During the past several months the City staff and City Commissioners have been considering and working toward the goal of providing a beneficial retirement package for several of our long term employees. Our goal was to give all of our employees that are over the age of sixty an option to consider retirement in the near future and at the same time to ease some of the challenges of retiring and providing individual health care and the additional costs of transitioning to a slower lifestyle.
