WinterFisch – The One That Got Away
Gavin Witt, of Richardson was enjoying a day of fishing at the James River Crossing with his brother Evan and mother Carly, so we invited him to draw the grand prize of a Temple Fork fly fishing rod and reel combo donated by Living Waters Fly Fishing of Round Rock Texas.
I had one final task with WinterFisch, but due to a super busy spring and early summer it got away from me. This task was to wrap up this fun annual fishing event with prize awards, a great big thank you to our local and out-of-county sponsors, and a thank you to the team that helped make the opportunity a success. WinterFisch is a winter Rainbow Trout fishing opportunity that is administered statewide by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD).
