Mason County Troop 281 took part this past Saturday in a riparian conservation project along Comanche Creek and the Jamie Hemphill Nature Trail in Fort Mason Park.  Mason Troop 281 worked alongside their leaders and some visiting scouts from Buda Troop 218, as well as Texas Master Naturalists and other volunteers, to create three riparian restoration demonstration sites along the nature trail.  The demonstration sites feature various methods for preventing erosion, and for encouraging so ...
