Public River Access Threatened at Whites Crossing
In July of 2020 the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) will begin construction of a new bridge to replace the low water crossing bridge at White’s Crossing on Highway 1871. Current plans do not allow for continued public access as has historically been enjoyed by Mason County residents and our many visitors who also enjoy the Llano River.
