Texas Sports Writers Association Class 2A All-state football team
Ochoa, Wills are players of the year BRYAN – Refugio quarterback Austin Ochoa and linebacker Zavien Wills swept player of the year honors on the Texas Sports Writers Association’s Class 2A Football Team. Ochoa threw for 3,004 yards with 30 touchdowns along with 552 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns. The senior, who will play baseball at Texas-San Antonio, led Refugio to a 16-0 record and the Division I state title.
