"Toto, We're Not In Pontotoc Anymore!" We have two granddaughters, sisters, who live in Denver, Colorado. When the eldest had our first great-grandchild she decided to have him baptized in her home congregation in Angleton, Texas. Younger sister and husband would be "Sponsors" (Lutheran for "Godparents"). The thinking was this would be more convenient for family and friends to attend and for me, who had baptized the granddaughter mother, to officiate.
