Last week, portions of Mason and surrounding counties experienced a massive hailstorm. Our Double Helix Ranch was right in the bullseye of this storm, and we were pummeled for 20 minutes with 2- to 3-inch hailstones that caused considerable damage. All our trees had been leafing out and were green before the storm, but they were stripped bare by the hailstones.
