A Public Hearing was held prior to the August 7 meeting of Blanco’s Planning and Zoning Commission. A request for rezoning property at 206 Fourth Street from Residential to Mixed Use was submitted by Bobby McClung. Property owner J. D. Sherlock, who lives on Fifth Street, behind the property in question, urged commissioners and the city to “look hard” at the possible dangers of flooding on that property.
