With tremedous flood damage to city infrastructure in 2015, Blanco took a big step forward toward repairs this week, as the city closed on $6.3 million in loans from the Texas Water Development Board. “Back in 2003, when the 11-mile pipeline to Canyon Lake was approved, that was a piece of Blanco’s future,” Mayor Martha Herden said.
