Cattle Raisers Get Law Enforcement & Legislative Update

Eleven years after the Civil War ended, 40 Texas ranchers concerned with cattle rustling met in Graham, and formed an association to fight theft in the region, known today as the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. “In 1877 when the association was formed, this part of the country was a mess,” TSCRA Special Ranger Mike Barr said.
