The 2018 Blanco Lavender Festival steering committee has selected this year’s official festival art piece, a watercolor by Austin artist Helen Faythe Green. The official festival art piece is featured on volunteer t-shirts, posters, and t-shirts for sale at the event, as well as in publicity for the festival. “I’ve never been to Blanco, but I have a really good friend in Kerrville who encouraged me to enter a painting for the Lavender Festival,” Green said.
