Panthers Offense, Defense Impressive
in 12-2 Victory over Florence

The Blanco baseball team continued its District success Monday night with a dominant 12-2 District 25-3A victory over Florence. With rain in the forecast for the 27, the decision was made to move up the game to March 26, 2018. Against the Buffaloes, Blanco generated all the offense necessary during the first five innings, coming away with the 12-2, 10-run rule victory. After Florence was unable to generate any offense in the top of the first, the Panthers plated two runs to take a 2-0 lead.
