On Thursday evening May 17th, at the Blanco High School, members of the Blanco Chapter #934, Order of the Eastern Star were privileged to award three (3) $500.00 Scholarships to 3 deserving Blanco Seniors. Those receiving the Martha Moore Bates Memorial Scholarships were Savannah French, Madison Knesse and Sarai Godinez (not pictured.) Martha Moore Bates was a longtime member of the Blanco Chapter #934, Order of the Eastern Star and we feel she would be proud of our carrying on her tradition ...
