On Aug. 31 at the ‘Old 300 BBQ’ campaign rally for Ted Cruz in Blanco County, Texas, I was accosted by a representative of the “Citizen’s Security.” I had taken a bag into the venue because I could not leave it in a hot car. I kept the bag on the floor beside me during the event and at the conclusion I was accosted by a stranger who demanded to know what was in my bag.
