It started out a little chilly, but turned out to be a great day for the Blanco Project Graduation Bass Tournament on Lake LBJ.
We had 14 teams this year, with 10 limits of 5 “keepers” caught. First place went to David Hesskew and Nick Pastuberry with 25.04 lbs. Second place went to Larry Smith and Ken Evertte with 22.32 lbs. Third place was won by Mike Crane and Russell Truitt with 17.90 lbs. Fourth were Mike Clark and Ayden Humphreys with 14.56 lbs. Fifth went to Brandon Edmiston and Rickie Dock with 13.68 lbs. “Big Bass” went to David Hesskew and Nick Pastuberry with one fish weighting in at 7.34 lbs.

Sausage for the meal was furnished by 4th Street Market.
Trophies were made by the Blanco High School Ag students.
A great group of parents and students lead by Missy Mowery came out to help with the registration, weigh-in, meal and raffle.
These contributors, parents, students, along with our fishermen, helped this event net over $2,100 toward Blanco Project Graduation 2019.
