Mayor’s Update: Wastewater Plant Plans for Future Development
The new wastewater treatment plant and the city’s application to amend its existing permit to increase capacity is generating a lot of discussion in the community, as it should. It’s also important to know the facts about the project. The City of Blanco has been concerned about domestic wastewater and its impacts on our local environment for a long time, beginning with ordinances governing privies as far back as 1939.
