Lady Panthers kick off hoops season with 1-1 mark

The Blanco girls basketball team opened its 2020-21 season last week with a split in two games. The Lady Panthers started their season Nov. 17 with a rout over Johnson City, winning 60-12, and then dropped a close game to Hondo, 41-37, on Saturday. Blanco started in style against Johnson City, jumping out to a commanding 18-2 first quarter lead.
