An Educational Opportunity to Step Back in Time
Buggy Barn Museum is family owned and operated and located in the beautiful Hill Country of Blanco. Buggy Barn Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing a unique educational opportunity to step back in time to the late 1800s and early 1900s and view the carriages, wagons and buggies that played such a significant role in the country's history, development, and heritage.
Looking for some good authentic German fare in the Hill Country? Look no further than the historic German Village at the New Braunfels Conservation Society at 1300 Church Hill Drive in New Braunfels November 9 thorugh 13. The annual Kaffee Haus, at the New Braunfels Conservation Society will be serving their famous German potato soup; authentic German wurst; pimiento cheese, chicken and ham salad sandwiches; homemade cookies, cakes, pies and more in the 1865 General Store from 10:30 a.m.

As has happened for the last 133 years, the famed St. Louis Day Celebration will again open the gates to visitors from all over the state. Dubbed decades ago by the Texas Tourist Agency as "The Homecoming for the State of Texas", the giant festival will again serve tons of barbecued beef, Alsatian style sausage, and food, drink, music, games and fun all day long for friends who make the trip each year to Castroville.

The Annual Kendall County Fair is one of the oldest Fair’s in Texas. This year will mark the 110th annual fair which will be held on Labor Day Weekend, Sept 3 through 6th in Boerne, Texas at the Fairgrounds (1307 River Road). The Fredericksburg Jaycees are excited to announce the return of their annual Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival to Fredericksburg Marktplatz on Memorial Day weekend, May 22-24. The festival will include many activities for the entire family including a variety of great Cajun food, live music, and a children's carnival.
