The quaint Texas Hill Country town of Bertram is preparing itself for this year’s annual Labor Day event, their 41th Annual Oatmeal Festival. Our festival begins Friday evening at 5:03 pm in the nearby town of Oatmeal TX with a Beauty Pageant, artisans, vendors, music and more. Festival activities continue all day September 1st in Bertram TX.

The Texas Rangers Heritage Center in Fredericksburg honors the Texas Rangers daily with a 12-acre campus located on Hwy 290. On August 4, 2018, they will remember those who have served and honor those still commissioned with a two-part event. Wow! Can you believe it’s already time for AquaBoom 2018? The 49th Annual AquaBoom will be held on June 30 through July 4 with five fun-filled days of fun and sun, and a little pomp and circumstance thrown in for good measure. With 48 years behind it, for generations this “Granddaddy” of all the Hill Country celebrations has been attended by lifetime residents and new transplants, tourists and locals, young and old.
The annual Fredericksburg Community Fourth of July Parade will take place on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. on Main Street. This patriotic event was begun in 1991 by a group of volunteers and has been sponsored and put on totally by volunteers for years.  It is meant to be a celebration of our pride in our country and our independence.

Lampasas annual Spring Ho Festival offers a full week of activities that are guaranteed to bring excitement to thousands of visitors. The 47th annual Spring Ho will follow the theme of “Let the Good Times Roll”. The festival name celebrates the importance of the natural springs and the history of Lampasas.

Beginning with one Oomph band on a flatbed trailer seventeen years ago the festival has become an annual tradition in Tomball and one of the best music/street festivals in Texas.
