Last Tuesday, the basketball team played Menard and played really well taking the victory.
That weekend, the team played two very good basketball teams in Llano and Brady. The Punchers dropped both of those games but rebounded the next day, beating Ballinger 40-38 in a thriller.
MASON, Texas – The girls softball field operated by Mason Youth Baseball will have new lighting thanks to a $25,000 community development grant from the Lower Colorado River Authority and the City of Mason.
Only three of the four baseball and softball fields at the city's Fort Mason City Park currently have lights.

Cliffa Gene Cook of Pontotoc, Texas passed from this life on December 2, 2015, at the age of 92.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Ezra Glen Cook, her son Charles Ezra Cook and son-in-law Donald Ray Henderson. She was born August 30, 1923, in Llano, Texas, to Dawn (Spinks) Lange and Walter Lange of Pontotoc, TX.
She graduated from Llano High School in 1940.
