The Blanco-Pedernales Groundwater District board meeting was called to order Thursday, June 21, 2018 by chair Jimmy Klepac.

Hill Country Memorial Hospice announces the upcoming meeting schedule for its Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Group for caregivers of those affected by these conditions.
The group will meet on Tues., July 3 from 2-3 p.m. in the second-floor conference room of the Brune Building at 808 Reuben St. in Fredericksburg.
Facilitated by HCM social worker Brook Bodenhamer, the group will continue to meet on the first Tuesday of each month, including Aug.
William “Bill” Victor Casey, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at his home in Cypress Mill, TX. Bill was born March 9, 1949 in Austin, TX to Donald E. Casey and Bernice Wenmohs Casey.

Lois F. Mooney, 107, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at LBJ Medical Center in Johnson City, Texas.
Lois was born on April 22, 1911, in DeWitt, Iowa to Mary Jeanette Budinger Fuller and Harry Fuller. She was a former member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Johnson City and was a retired secretary for various businesses.
