Lyndon B. Johnson High School celebrated the recent scholarship signing of Payton Scott to play collegiate baseball for The University of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Payton started playing baseball at the age of 5 and played in Little League through the age of 8. When he was 9 he started playing tournament travel ball and was playing baseball 9 months out of the year.
Six Lyndon B. Johnson High School art students won top awards at Art Scholastic Awards
Over 300,000 students submitted work for the 2017 Scholastic Art Awards. Each year the Scholastic Awards are celebrated within their communities through local exhibitions and ceremonies such as the Fine Arts Evening at the LBJ High School.
