A new Council member was sworn into Leandy Pletcher’s vacant seat at the start of April 4’s City Council Meeting. Gayla Guthrie filled the open City Council position and discussed with the other City Council members city park updates, Main Street safety upgrades and the solar site lease. A cross county Police Chase came to an end south of Johnson City at the HWY 0f 281 and HWY 290 East intersection. Johnson City Police Chief Randy Holland reported on Tuesday April 11, at approximately 2:00 am a Police pursuit was called out by Blanco County Dispatch as Comal County Sheriff’s Deputies and Bulverde Police Department were coming into South Blanco County. Tom Moore Warriors The Johnson City Eagles played Ingram Tom Moore last Tuesday and claimed a 14-1 victory over the Warriors. Johnson City wasted no time jumping to a 4-0 first inning lead. JOHNSON CITY, Texas – Cactus Construction is pleased to announce that the concrete slab foundation was poured for The Margaret Bamberger Research and Education Center at the Bamberger Ranch Preserve in Johnson City, Texas on April 3, 2017. Four generations of Bamberger family members were present and placed their handprints into the new research center’s foundation.
