Llano’s population nearly doubled this weekend as deer season officially opened on Saturday. By noon Thursday, the streets of Llano were filled with trucks, trailers with 4-wheelers, and the color of the day was camo. On Friday, the Llano Chamber of Commerce welcomed approximately 500 hunters to the Visitor Center. “We don’t have the exact head count yet, but we are estimating close to 500.
