Llivin Lavida Llano: Heifer Pair Sale
Jimmy Decker leads the auction last Tuesday at the first annual Commercial Heifer Pair Sale put on by the Hill Country Livestock Raisers Association held at the John L Kuykendall Arena. The first pairs going to auction were raised by Kylee Brown, standing to the left on the trailer.

After being introduced over a year ago, the first annual Commercial Heifer Pair Sale was held at the John L Kuykendall Arena last week. FFA and 4-H participants purchased the heifers in Llano County 16 months ago from established ranches. The kids have accomplished and learned about the beginning stages of a commercial cow/calf operation.
