Jim and Phyliss Norfleet were part of the ugly sweater contest Saturday night at Joe’s Bar and Grill.
It began back in October, the first and third Wednesdays each month. The nights were hot and sticky, and inside the arena, families were gathered under the big fans trying to stay cool. Coy created this painting and auctioned it off online, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Rockport-Fulton Chamber Foundation, a part of the Rockport Chamber of Commerce, for hurricane relief efforts. Coy has only painted a handful of times and always at the instruction of Bob Ross.

Ice can lead to downed power lines, leaving co-op members without power. During extremely low temperatures, this can be dangerous.

“We played well,” said head coach Jerry McSherry, who showed remarkable calm and dignity following a 40-38 loss.
