The Lion’s Roar
The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, February 21st for its weekly luncheon meeting. there were 27 members and 8 visitors in attendance. “Boss” Lion Jess Irwin said that on this date in 1794 Antonio Lopez De Santa Anna was born. 42 years later he would lead his 5000 Mexican troops against the 186 defenders of the Alamo.
