Daughters of Republic Meeting
The Heart of Texas Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) met for the installation of officers and end-of-the-fiscal-year meeting on May 8 at their Meeting Room on the west side of the Court House Square. Installed to serve during the next two-year term (pictured left to right) were: Cynthia Quinn, President; Cynthia Sutton, Vice-President; Sheila Van Zant, Secretary; Linda Davis, Treasurer; Judy Hanks, Historian; Jerry Wilkinson, Registrar; and Colleen Laman, Chaplain.
