City Seats New Commissioners, Reverses Course on Hazard Mitigation Plan
The first order of new business for the Mason City Commission on Monday night was to certify the results of the recent election, and to seat the two winners in that contest. Bonnie Beam of District 2 retained her seat, fending off a challenge from Anna Velez, and Vicki Enrigue defeated incumbent William Beaty in District 4. The next order of business was to elect a Mayor Pro Tem.
