It’s not much, but $20,000 adds up to 1/5 the cost of the new million-dollar landfill over 10 years. No one wants to raise taxes or see rates go up, but Mayor Hinkley, Commissioners Beam, and Enrique are correct in that a new city-owned landfill is critical for Mason’s future.
