100 Year Old Letter
Gerry, My aunt, Mldred Todd (daughter of August Willmann), sent me the text of a letter written by my grandfather, August A. Willmann, when he was serving in France 2 days before Armistice Day during World War I. It is addressed to his sister Lillie Willmann Eckert. August’s grandchildren are Karen Toone, Sarah Stahl, and myself.
