Lion president Marty Bentson opened the January 8 meeting of the Mason Lions Club. Lion Charlie Reichenau introduced the guest speaker, Bart Mason, who grew up in Post, Texas. C.W. Post (of Post Toasties, Post Grape Nuts, and Postum fame) founded the city in about 1907 as an idyllic town.
