I received a Christmas card form the Governor’s family followed by an invitation to attend the Swearing In Ceremonies of Gov. Gregg Abbott and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick which was held January 15 on the portico of the North entrance of the Capitol of Texas. I called my daughter, Keeta, of Houston and she joined me for the ceremonial event which was of great benefit to me as we walked all over North Austin, as it seemed, along with about 15000 others.
