He said he thought Pringles started out to make tennis balls, but the first day a truckload of potatoes showed up by mistake. Pringles was a laid-back company, so they said, “Cut ‘em up.” OK, you’d probably have to be there. I’m thinking it probably didn’t happen that way, anyway, but it’s a good joke.
