Welcome May. Do you remember May Day festivals at school when we danced around the may pole? This involved the tether ball pole and lots of crepe paper. Some years we had costumes. I remember a swim suit costume with crepe paper wings that transformed us into butterflies. I hope students today have fond memories of elementary school that are not test related. John and I decided last week to make the trip to 700 Springs Ranch south of Junction to see where the South Llano River begins.
