Daughters of Republic Meeting
Members and guests of the Heart of Texas Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) enjoyed a presentation by Judge Bill Spiller at their regular monthly meeting on Monday. Spiller told an exciting tale of his ancestor’s attack by Indians in San Saba County. His great great great grandfather and a companion survived after being shot multiple times by arrows.
