People are upset with the cancellation of Kendal Hemphill’s column in the Mason County News. That’s understandable. He has loyal followers and good friends. And he’s an engaging writer. That is, when he sticks to his outdoor humorist topics. Then he’s warm, funny, and worth reading. When he veers off into topics that rile people up, on both sides of our current political divide, it does no service to public civility and discourse.
