A Slip of the Tongue When Pastor Forrest Kreinautlaud came to St. Martin's Lutheran Church in the mid-1980's, he soon discovered that the little Texas country church with its membership of predominately German-American farmers and ranchers was a bit behind its neighboring congregations in the practice of contemporary worship customs. For example: other Lutheran congregations were involving more and more lay people in the worship.
