Training Dear Readers, I ran across these stats and, if these are representative or even close, I think we can see why police in some places find it difficult to do a better job. TRAINING! N. Carolina Police: 620 hrs. Barber: 1,528 hrs. Two cities require 278 more hrs. of police training. California Police: 664 hrs. Cosmetologist: 1,600 hrs.
