I received a phone message yesterday that asked, “When are my onions ripe and when and how do I harvest and store them?” Let’s look at onions, garlic, potatoes, and winter squash for harvesting and “curing”. Onions can take their time to grow, especially with the up and down weather we have experienced this spring.
