The noontime Advent Program with music and lunch will continue next week on Wednesday, December 20 at the First United Methodist Church.
During the lunch hour, from noon till 1:00 p.m., there will be a brief message in the Sanctuary, and then special music by Alex Logan, accompanied by Laura Logan, presenting Alfred Burt carols.

Thank you Puncher Football. We have enjoyed a great season with you. While we would have preferred to have a win Friday, just because winning is much more fun than losing, you have nothing to be ashamed of. You played with class and heart all season. Emotions are raw now, but you are all destined to bigger and better things in your future.
I was looking at the calendar and noticed that Christmas is really getting close.
The Mason FFA Chapter will host a community breakfast this Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mason. Serving will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 11:00 a.m. or until supplies last.
Calli Montague, Mason FFA Chapter President, stated that this event is called the First Annual Build Your Own Breakfast Taco Fundraiser.
We are excited to share that the Hill Country Youth Commercial Heifer Show and Sale is currently entering its fifth year of existence. It all started with a group of passionate ranchers who believed in facilitating an opportunity for youth to acquire knowledge of life in the commercial beef industry.
This project is one that is undoubtedly most practical in terms of its goals.
Christmas is a time for family, fellowship and celebrating the love of Christ. The family of River of Life Church wants to share in food and fellowship with our family of Mason at our annual Christmas Dinner. Please join us on Christmas Day, Monday, December 25th at the River of Life Gymnasium for a delicious traditional Christmas dinner.
