While serving as Director of Fine Arts for a school district, I had the opportunity to accompany students to various art galleries and art museums, many of which featured the works of internationally renowned artists. I remember admiring a very large painting from across a room. It featured a quaint Italian city reflected in the waters of the Mediterranean.
