The City of Blanco conducted a groundbreaking ceremony Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, kicking off the new Wastewater Treatment Plan construction project for 2017-18. The plant is being constructed by Payton Construction, Wimberley. The project has been designed by Jones-Heroy & Associates, city engineers. Citizens should be aware that there will be increased traffic along the route leading from Hwy 281 to the plant, located at Fulcher St.
