While serving as a young missionary in South America, My companion and I were assigned to visit fellow missionaries working in a small Uruguayan town. We disembarked at the town plaza. We had no address for the missionaries and were speculating about how best to locate them. The answer came from an unexpected source. It is customary for a Catholic cathedral to be located prominently on one side of the central square.
