The Blanco County Commissioners met on November 11, 2015 for their regularly scheduled meeting. The first discussion item on the agenda was the transfer of funds from one budget line item to another to purchase a motor grader. The transfer was for $13,710 and the county received a payment on Monday from the Juvenile Probation Office in the amount of $13,000 in unused funds that came from the money that the county provided to the Probation Office and will help offset the cost of the purchase.

Lindendale School House has been presented with a vintage style painting from BHS Art teacher Perry Kuebel and BHS Senior student Trent Dechert. Trent was given the assignment to reproduce a painting of our first President George Washington to be displayed in the one hundred year old school house which is used as the Lindendale Community gathering place on FM 1888.
Although we all appreciate the rain, its timing was bad, interfering with the end of the Blanco Youth Soccer Association's season: games for the last two weekends of play were rained out. Some of the rained out games were made up, with the last game of the season, between the two U12 teams made up of kids from Banco, being played Saturday afternoon the 8th.

After allowing Van Vleck to be the first opponent to score on the Panthers in 5 weeks and the first to take an early lead, Blanco settled down and went on to defeat the Leopards 18-7 to claim the Bi-District Championship and advance to face the Taft Greyhounds in the Area round of the play-offs.
The Leopards scored on their first offensive drive of the night on an 8 yard run to take a 7-0 lead following the PAT in the first quarter of play.
