The Blanco County Commissioners Court met on November 24, 2015 with all Commissioners present.
The minutes were approved with clarification that the Commissioners voted to endorse the director of the Missions Committee and did not appoint the director.
The Commissioners voted to put in place a disaster declaration in May and voted Tuesday to rescind that declaration and it was noted that this would not affect any FEMA or grant monies that might be paid to the county.

The 2015 Panther football season came to an end in Bastrop this past Friday as Blanco was defeated by the East Bernard Brahmas 42-6. The Brahmas jumped out to an early lead despite 3 first half turnovers and then continued their dominant play to close out the game.
In the first quarter both teams had trouble hanging on to the ball as each team's opening drives ended in fumbles.
The Lady Panthers lost to the Johnson City Eagles 30-42 on Tuesday, November 24 at the LBJ gym. Leading scorer for Blanco was Kendall Brock with 15 points. Andrea Calzoncit made 6 points with Gracie Edmondson adding 5. Madison Kneese scored 3 and Kenzie Warner made 1 point. The junior varsity posted a strong 48-27 win over the Eagles.
