Three men are vying for a pair of spots on the Blanco City Council. Voters will decide which two are elected on May 6, the date of the municipal election.
Early voting takes place the week of April 24.

The resignation of longtime Blanco Middle School counselor Lisa Rogers, who has been the subject of an ongoing investigation for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student, was made effective immediately on Monday by the Blanco Independent School District Board of Education.
Board members conducted a special meeting on Monday evening with Rogers as the only agenda item.
