The Schneider House at 532 Magazine Avenue is a single-family dwelling with two accessory structures located on the back of the property. The property is not an individual historic landmark but contributes to the Sophienburg Hill Historic District.
The residence was originally built in 1910 by Edward F. Schneider (1861-1919) and Emma Maurer Schneider (1857-1935) adding to their considerable land holdings in the area.
The first weekend of April is booked solid in Llano with the 16th Annual Chuck Wagon Cook-Off and the 43rd Llano Fiddle Festival. On Friday morning, April 3, students from Llano Elementary, Packsaddle, and Llano Christian Academy will make their yearly trip to Badu Park to learn about life in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
