Local authorities have made another arrest involving an alleged possession of methamphetamine. According to Johnson City Police Chief Randy Holland, local resident Donald Wayne Thompson, Jr., 32, was arrested in the wake of a routine traffic stop on Thursday, June 25 at approximately 10:57 p.m. "Johnson City Investigator Garrett Scallorn conducted a traffic stop on a 2007 tan colored Dodge four-door pickup truck in the 400 block of U.S.
Thursday, June 25 turned out to be a busy day for Johnson City Investigator Garrett Scallorn. In addition to an arrest allegedly involving methamphetamine (see related story), the officer also made an arrest for alleged theft of a motor vehicle. According to Johnson City Police Chief Randy Holland, Scallorn spotted a suspicious situation at approximately 3 a.m.
