Valentine’ Day is this Friday. I usually find something for my grandkids. However, I have only purchased a present for my great grandson. Does this mean I have changed focus on grandkids? Pay For It
Dear Gerry,
I was upset and embarrassed for City Commissioners in their actions toward Blue Oak and their non-payment for their services. The city had a contract with Blue Oak for the services to produce documents necessary to obtain a new Landfill permit. The City Lawyer had advised the City Commissioners to pay the unpaid invoices in July 2019, after amending the budget to cover these charges.

He commuted daily from Fredericksburg and soon became friends with various city employees like Joe Martinez and John Palacio when he came on as city manager.

As noted, this recipe comes from the Texas Rangers Cookbook, and it’s not hard to close your eyes and see a bunch of steely-eyed Rangers sitting around a campfire outside Ft. Stockton, tearing off pieces of the bread, and then dunking it in the pinto bean pot!

The ‘Super Bowl’ Re-Hashed…
I never have to look at calendars or “study up” on Roman numerals to know which Super Bowl comes next. Instead, I calculate years of marriage, since “knot-tying” with Brenda occurred in 1966. Thus, I can tell you that the Next Super Bowl will be number fifty-five.
Okay, if you must, challenge me to write the “Roman numeral way”--Super Bowl LV.
My intent in this piece is to contend that this year’s “big game” may have more “side road
